El and Ana Studios provides a unique photography service for inclusive, sustainable, and empowering small businesses, POC, and LGBTQ+ audiences. We prioritize the human aspect of our work, taking a intentional and friendly pace to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. Our goal is to help our clients feel seen and able to express themselves, be authentic, and bring their visions to life.

OVERVIEW OF BRIEF

Photography studio, El and Ana Studios is in need of a brand identity to communicate not only its sustainable and inclusive services but its friendly and intentional approach. As an empowering yet empathetic business emerging into the space, the brand identity needs to speak to LGBTQ+, POC models and small business owners to show them that they can tell their real and unique stories in a safe space, whilst receiving industry standard professional work. With the goal to help their clients feel seen, and express themselves whilst bringing their visions to life the brand identity needs to be welcoming and professional, yet with a hint of playfulness.

WHAT WE WANTED TO ACHIEVE

A professional and sustainable brand identity that communicates inclusivity and high quality but without thin editorial serifs and an extremely cold neutral colour palette. In order to stand out as a brand, it’s important that we tune into El and Ana Studios’ unique personality, focusing on empowering others in a safe space and the collaborative and intentional approach to projects. To do so, the brand identity must be fluid, professional and welcoming.
