Hybrid Undivided
Project Description
A visual storytelling project exploring hybrid identities — the experience of individuals who move between cultures, geographies, and social contexts without ever fully belonging to one. This work investigates the emotional tension of hybridity: disconnection, fluidity, and the need for recognition in a world that prefers clear labels.
Challenge
People with hybrid identities often feel unseen, misunderstood, or placed into boxes they never chose. This project aimed to communicate that experience through digital storytelling, interactive media, and 3D experimentation — making the internal complexity of hybrid identity visible and felt.
Approach
I combined visual storytelling, 3D modelling, and interactive elements to capture emotions like displacement, relatability, and confusion.
The work was intentionally raw, honest, and experiential — inviting audiences to step into the perspective of hybrid individuals and reflect on the nuances of belonging.

Solution
The final exhibition presented interactive 3D face models, narrative fragments, and visual metaphors that represented how hybrid individuals navigate society. By allowing viewers to pinch, rotate, and inspect the digital models, the work created an intimate encounter — a way of asking the audience to look closer rather than assume.
